I do not believe there is a lot left to fix.  There are very few
packages expecting /var/run/ to provide persistent storage, and those
are the only problems left that I am aware of.  I am aware of crack
and exim4 at the moment, thought I suspect there are others.

And I do not plan to keep the change in experimental very long.  We
should get this into unstable soon, so we can modify ifupdown to
handle interfaces taken up by coldplug events.
