[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Drop the mtab magic and just symlink or bindmount /etc/mtab to /lib/init/rw/mtab ?

At the moment, the boot system contain much code to work around the
fact that mtab isn't writable when file systems are mounted early in
the boot. I just changed mountkernfs.sh to mount /lib/init/rw/ as the
first thing. With this in place, it should be safe to let /etc/mtab
be a symlink to for example /lib/init/rw/mtab, and use mount normally
instead of with the -n option. Any objections to doing this?
