[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Drop the mtab magic and just symlink or bindmount /etc/mtab to /lib/init/rw/mtab ?

Initial testing show that this do not work.  If /etc/mtab is a
symlink, mount refuses to update it.  If it is a bind mount, mount is
unable to create /etc/mtab~ and refuses to update it.  I tried to bind
mount /etc/mtab~ and /etc/mtab.tmp too, but without much success.  I
am starting to suspect that storing mtab in /lib/init/rw/ is not going
to work without patching mount.
