[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] New sysvinit package available in Debian

Hi.  You get this email as an uploader of the sysvinit package in
Ubuntu.  I recently uploaded a new version of sysvinit in Debian.  It
includes several of the improvements done by Ubuntu, as well as quite
a few bug fixes and other improvements.  You might want to check it
out and consider to merge from it into Ubuntu.  Espesially the SATA
fixes for halt should be useful, but also the optimization of the
shutdown and single user runlevel sequences.

The svn is available from
svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-sysvinit/sysvinit/trunk , and the
changes since version 2.86.ds1-14.1 is available by using 'svn diff
-r779'.
