[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#499796: initscripts: reboot is called with -i

Package: initscripts
Version: 2.86.ds1-61
Severity: wishlist

I have a system with it's root filesystem on iscsi. Unfortunately the -i
option is used when calling reboot in /etc/init.d/reboot, hence all
network interfaces are shut down when the kernel tries to send it's
final flush to the scsi disk.

In /etc/init.d/halt there's a variable $NETDOWN to control this, but
/etc/init.d/reboot doesn't offer such a setting.
