[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#513852: /etc/init.d/hostname.sh: Does not set hostname during bootup

Package: initscripts
Version: 2.86.ds1-61
Severity: important
File: /etc/init.d/hostname.sh

After the system has finished booting up, it reports its hostname as
'localhost.localdomain'.

I have to run '/etc/init.d/hostname.sh start' in order to set the hostname
correctly.

The symlink at '/etc/rcS.d/S02hostname.sh' is present and points to the script
in /etc/init.d.
