[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#521357: initscripts: /etc/network/if-up.d/mountnfs fails with slow interfaces (Token Ring)

Package: initscripts
Version: 2.86.ds1-61
Severity: important

/etc/network/if-up.d/mountnfs exits with (not exact wording):

if-up.d/mountnfs: waiting for interface before doing NFS mounts

No nfs mount is done at all. Will have to do manually after system boot.

This seems to happen only when:
- using "slow" interfaces like IBM olympic Token Ring Cards
(or perhaps some state information is missing for mountnfs script)
- mounting nfs automatically at boot-time via /etc/fstab
