[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#545325: sysvinit-utils: Add disable/enable action to service command

Package: sysvinit-utils
Version: 2.87dsf-4
Severity: wishlist

Disabling a sysv service is quite tedious, to do the right way:
Rename the S?? symlinks to K?? symlinks (for all affected runlevels) and
running update-rc.d (which is a new requirement with insserv)

It would be handy if the "service" command had a disable/enable action,
which would disable/enable a given sysv service.
