[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] (unused) splash api in sysvinit

Hi Daniel, hi Fabo!
I'm currently cleaning up the old usplash code from sysvinit.
While looking through the initscripts shell code, I noticed that sysvinit
provides a splash api via /lib/init/splash-functions-base.
usplash is gone and won't come back, that leaves plymouth and splashy as splash
systems.
Neither of those two is using the splash api provided by sysvinit.
So I'm wondering if this unused code should be dropped from sysvinit or if you
still have plans to make use of it.
If not, I'd prepare a patch to rip out the unused code from sysvinit.
Cheers,
Michael
