The incorrect character is only present in SVN; it's '§' in my git
repo and in the uploaded packages.  If you use mutt, it might have
got the encoding wrong when saving the patch attachment?  (I've had
that happen before with translations).

Ick.  This one is my fault; when I applied by git changes to the
previous package I must have got the start revision one after that
change because it's definitely in git.

I've attached a new patch.  Note one (-deb) is a debdiff against
the version in unstable.  The other is against SVN.  I've gzipped
them to ensure saving the attachments won't result in encoding
issues to correct the encoding issue.
