The attached patch splits bootlogd into a separate package.

At the risk of conflicts, I've included a debian/changelog stanza.  I've
also included an appropriate NEWS.Debian warning about the transition.
For the changes, I tried to match the existing style as closely as
possible, rather than using debhelper bits that the sysvinit package
doesn't already use.

Please consider applying this patch.
