I thought update-rc.d will also be replaced by insserv, and still exists only for the migration phase. I came to this conclusion, because of misinterpreting the wiki-page http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScripts/DependencyBasedBoot and the stop/start options of insserv.

and also the renumbering of scripts after adding scripts which contain the keyword "X-Interactive:     true" and a call of "insserv -d" afterwards was something I had to get used to. 

now I think everything is clear and working :)
