It's not that simple.  They have been moved to the bootlogd package,
but we have no reliable means of determining whether or not it's
safe to purge them--this is entirely dependent upon whether or no
bootlogd is installed, removed or purged.

If you do have any ideas about how this can be safely handled, we
would of course be very happy to hear them.
