[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#728682: invoke-rc.d : undocumented and "unknown" action rotate is used.

Package: sysv-rc
Version: 2.88dsf-43
Severity: normal

Each day I get the following error message from cron :

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
invoke-rc.d: action rotate is unknown, but proceeding anyway.

My /usr/bin/policy-rc.d does indeed treat the rotate action. However it is not documeted in the man page.

It seems there is a mismatch between logrotate and invoke-rc.d about this action.
