Thank you for the heads up.  I was not aware of this part of the
problem.

This issue is related to <URL: https://bugs.debian.org/742822 > and
<URL: https://bugs.debian.org/713135 >, and I plan to undo the rename
and use breaks/replaces instead to avoid causing problems for upstart
users.  If you got time, please review the new startpar package in
git.
