Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
Basic Setup of Debian Jessie with Beta2 Installer two weeks ago (with encrypted
filesystem). Installed package via apt-get install bootlogd - package did
install but no logging event into /vr/log/boot. After checking with
packages.debian.org missing dependency libc0.1
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Tried to install libc0.1 manually but no installation candidate available -
proposed alternative packages tzdata, initscripts, libc-bin are installed.
# update-rc.d bootlogd enable - after reboot still no logging
Checked system folders /etc/rc1.d up to /etc/rc5.d for bootlogd entry which was
present in all as S07bootlogs respectively S08stop-bootlogd
* What was the outcome of this action?
None
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Thank you for your help, best regards
