Fwiw, I'm quite sure the problem mentioned is because of the "partial"
upgrades to the version that no longer exists in the archive
(2.88dsf-59.1).
In my book the only solution to this is to fully upgrade or downgrade
to a version offered by the archive. That should resolve the situation.
