Thanks for taking a look anyway!

What I've done is to track down multiple very experienced Debian
Developers who have help me with reviews. I've also mainly focused on
the correct upgrade path (apt handling) when looking at my own changes.
It's always a possibility when switching implementiations, but I think
the risk of any real runtime change in behaviour is quite small this
time. For the changes commited by Martin Pitt I'm mainly trusting
him to have tested it (via ubuntu) and that he'll be around to handle
any potential fallout later.
Just like yourself, I've also got very limited spare time so I've only
yet done very basic testing. I was hoping to possibly get some help with
this from people experienced with testing sysvinit. I'm not a user of
it myself. If that fails, I'm hoping to find time during the weekend to
do more testing myself while doing the final preparations for the
upload.
Any help is very welcome...
(I've now pushed my util-linux changes to the public repo to make it
easier for anyone to test, by just building from debcheckout. Please
note that the version numbers used in the uploads and the
Breaks/Replaces are very sensitive to get correct. They should be as
things currently stand, but if something changes....)

Andreas Henriksson
