Hi!

I've prepared updated packages for tcl8.3, tcl8.4, tk8.3 and tk8.4 for
upload. They are committed to the project's SVN
(http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-tcltk/?sc=0).

The packages changelog entries are the following:

tcl8.3:
  * Removed build-essential packages from tcl8.3-dev dependencies.
  * Provide virtual tcl-dev package and removed conflict with tcl-dev package
    of tcl8.3-dev.
  * Fixed section numbers and references in manual pages (closes: #152926).
  * Bumped debhelper compatibility level to 5.
  * Bumped standards version to 3.7.2.

tk8.3:
  * Removed build-essential packages from tk8.3-dev dependencies.
  * Fixed dependencies on X libraries to reflect their changes since sarge.
  * Removed conflicts to tk-dev package and made tk8.3-dev providing tk-dev.
  * Fixed section numbers and references in manual pages.
  * Fixed incorrect TK_XINCLUDES variable in tkConfig.sh (closes: #357808).
  * Bumped debhelper compatibility level to 5.
  * Bumped standards version to 3.7.2.

tcl8.4:
  * Added forgotten TCL_INC_DIR variable to tclConfig.sh.
  * Applied patch by Ian Jackson <iwj at ubuntu.com> which fixes memcmp()
    function (closes: #440682).
  * Removed --enable-64bit configure option from debian/rules
    (closes: #440689).
  * Provide virtual tcl-dev package and removed conflict with tcl-dev package
    of tcl8.4-dev.

tk8.4:
  * Removed tk-dev from packages, conflicting with tk8.4-dev. It allows to
    install tk8.4-dev aside with tk8.3-dev (they aren't conflicting by files).
  * Removed --enable-64bit configure option from debian/rules.

Uploads of tk8.3 and tk8.4 also fix bug #312517.

Other bugs needs an attention though. Many of them are very old, and
we should look through them and close already fixed upstream or no
more reproducible.

Chris and/or Anselm, could you review and upload these packages? If
you think that I may upload them myself, I'll add myself to a list of
uploaders (I'm already a Debian developer) and upload them.

Cheers!
