[Pkg-tcltk-devel] tdom package

I am one of the many users of the tcl based OpenACS web application  
framework.

At our last meeting we decided to make packaging for Debian/Ubuntu a  
priority and I volunteered to help look into it.

Seems like there is only one dependency holding us back: tdom (we also  
need xotcl packaged, but Stefan Sobernig is working on that right now)

Here is a quote from an email exchange I had with the last tdom  
maintainer (David Welton):

"I don't recall whether I officially orphaned it or not, but the result
is the same...  It would be great if someone were to take it over, but
I've basically stopped work on Tcl related things."

I found this thread (apology for the new thread, I couldn't figure out  
how to reply-to that thread using this listserv software without

Are you going to be able to become the maintainer Massimo?
