Dear Sergei, dear Frankie!

I have prepared a new upstream release for xotcl (1.6.3). I request its
upload to unstable ... ONCE two issues are resolved:

1. doc-base vs. dh_installdocs issue:

starting with debhelper 2.7.3 (or so), the integration of doc-base
has been modified (generation of postinst/prerm scripts was dropped in
favour of triggers). now, lintian (v.2.2.9) reports two issues for the
xotcl-doc package:

postinst-has-useless-call-to-install-docs
prerm-has-useless-call-to-install-docs

well, in the tag description it says that this should not occur at all
because when rebuilding, new debhelper releases would avoid the
generation of postinst/prerm scripts call dh_installdocs. the only way
i could fix that is by explicitly ignoring the xotcl-doc.doc-base file
in debian/rules:

dh_installdocs -i -Xxotcl-doc.doc-base

which does not feel kosher to me ... any clues?

2. override disparities:

see http://packages.qa.debian.org/x/xotcl.html

apparently, and IMHO, the override file for aolserver4-xotcl changed
the assignment from web/optional to httpd. is this intended? should
i change the control file accordingly ...

the same issue occurred for the apache2 folks, but they took the
position that web is more suitable. i don't care, but it is a general
issue also valid for the new aolserver4 and module packages.

thanks for your thoughts!
