[Pkg-tcltk-devel] aolserver4: which depends setting to use?

frankie!

i am preparing a new maintenance release of the xotcl (and tdom)
package. now, i noticed that the ubuntu moto applied dependency patches
to their package imports, mainly changing:

-Depends: xotcl (>= ${binary:Version}), aolserver4 (>= 4)
+Depends: xotcl (>= ${binary:Version}), aolserver4-daemon (>= 4.5.1)

i tried to check the other module packages, i.e., aolserver4-ns*:
however, i noticed that you simply modified the version number, e.g.

Depends: xotcl (>= ${binary:Version}), aolserver4 (>= 4.5.1)

now i am wondering whether this is the way intended to do it?
however, the qa stuff now reports, e.g.,

> aolserver4-nspostgres/i386 unsatisfiable Depends: aolserver4 (>= 4.5.1)
(see http://packages.qa.debian.org/a/aolserver4-nspostgres.html)

as aolserver4 (as a virtual package) is now provided by
aolserver4-daemon, should the aolserver4-ns* and the aolserver4-xotcl
package shouldn't point to aolserver4-daemon (as in the ubuntu patch)?

note that the new aolserver4 package is not yet included in testing
because of:

http://release.debian.org/migration/testing.pl?package=aolserver4

thanks for clarifying this for me!
