Sorry, ignore me. It was intend for the interpreter, but of course it also uses the Tcl lib
at run-time in its threaded version... So, basically I don't see any possibilities but for
having two different versions of tcl 8.4 installed or having an embedded non-threaded version for
expect8.4 to be used for gcc toolchain. One possibility would be having for hppa only a non-threaded
edition for Tcl 8.4 and no Aolserver at all. I'm quite confident that its use is quite low on non x86/x64 
archs anyway...
