As far as I know, this change of the green color definition is
deliberate. The new
green color matches the one used in web. So, I will not revert it
back. If you think
that this color is unsuitable for an application, you'll have to
change the application.
Tk 8.6 offers 'lime' color as a replacement for '#00ff00', Tk 8.5 or
earlier don't know
about 'lime', but both can use 'green1'.
