Version: 0.23.3-3
Severity: important
Hello. I installed empathy with wish to use it like icq client.
First of all it didn't supported icq protocol with all recomended packages, so i think it is good idea to add other telepathy-* packages to recomends, or at least suggests list.
I installed telepathy-haze package, then added icq account, icq account were fresh registred, without any contacts in it.
I clicked "Chat" menu item, than "Add contact...", entered icq uin of my friend, entered as alias his nickname and accepted this.
I expected to see his account in my contact list, but it didn't, also my network status changed to "Offline", i tryied it several time. result is same.
After he write me message, i have succeded to add he to my contact list.
Also here is output that i saw in terminal:
rilium at rilium-lenovo:~/contacts$ LANG=C empathy

After few experiments with this, i'm failed to just change my status to "Availible", it writes that there is "Network problem", but there is no network problems with access to server that i configured(login.icq.com):
rilium at rilium-lenovo:~$ nmap -p 5190 login.icq.com
