I have an Intel card myself. If you're using compositing, make sure the
driver is using EXA (it should be the default with version 2:2.5.1-1
from experimental) and the video overlay is set to use textured video:

Set plugin to "X Window System (X11/XShm/Xv)" and device to "Textured
Video" with gstreamer-properties.

I'm reassigning the bug to the intel driver for any followups.
