Package: empathy
Version: 2.27.3-2
Severity: normal

My Debian system is currently inside a VirtualBox virtual machine. I suspend
the running of the VM when I turn the hardware off at night. When I resume
the VM, I notice that empathy has crashed.
The crash just causes empathy to exit; it bypasses bug-buddy entirely.
gdb is similarly unhelpful:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 0x7f2f017e8800 (LWP 23227)]
0x00007f2ef9033720 in strcmp () from /lib/libc.so.6
(gdb) c
Continuing.
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
The program no longer exists.
(gdb) where
No stack.
