[Pkg-telepathy-maintainers] Bug#654927: empathy: Unable to link contacts together in Empathy

When I try to link two contacts in empathy nothing happens. During this
operation the followin appear in .xsession-errors:

(gnome-shell:3568): telepathy-WARNING **: tpf-persona.vala:841: Failed

(empathy:3823): empathy-WARNING **: Failed to link personas: Can't link
personas with no primary store.


I also found there more information that looks to be relevant to this
problem:

Individuals will not be linked properly and creating new links between
Personas will not work.
The configured primary PersonaStore's backend may not be installed. If
you are unsure, check with your distribution.


I am not sure if this is empathy bug, it might be gnome-shell or
something other. I did not used emphathy before dist-upgraded to Gnome
3, thus not sure if it was working before. I had gnome 2 before and did
not purged config files during gnome 2 to 3 upgrade.
