Hi,

You were right. The recreation of my Jabber account fixed it. Thanks!

Nevertheless, the user experience is very bad. Empathy should migrate
accounts or at least fail with an error message which helps the user to
resolve the issue. Currently it just looks like your jabber server has
connection problems.
