Package: telepathy-gabble-tests
Version: 0.18.2-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
When telepathy-gabble-tests is installed,
/usr/lib/telepathy-gabble-tests/twisted/run-test.sh contains:
> sh "${test_src}/twisted/tools/with-session-bus.sh" \
> ${GABBLE_TEST_SLEEP} \
> --config-file="${config_file}" \
> -- \
> false -u "${test_src}/twisted/$i"
The command "false" makes all tests fail. It comes from the source file
tests/twisted/run-test.sh.in:
> sh "${test_src}/twisted/tools/with-session-bus.sh" \
> ${GABBLE_TEST_SLEEP} \
> --config-file="${config_file}" \
> -- \
> @TEST_PYTHON@ -u "${test_src}/twisted/$i"
@TEST_PYTHON@ should have been replaced by python, but the configure script
tests if python-twisted is installed and uses "false" if not.
I added the following Build-depends:
python-twisted, python-openssl, python-gobject,
(in addition to the existing run-time depends for the -tests package)
and it fixes the problem successfully.
