[Pkg-telepathy-maintainers] Bug#760964: empathy: no sound from callee duwing XMPP (voice) calls

Dear maintainer,

Up until (rougly) the end of July, I was able to succesfully perform audio
calls with other parties, but since August I no longer get sound from the
callee.  (The same if the other party calls me and I am the callee.)

Some extra information:

* This happens in various settings: calls over the internet or
  both parties on a single LAN, using IPv6 and not.  Using iftop we have
  determined that at least no audio mediastream seems to be returned.

* If a video call is performed, the video _is_ streamed both ways,
  but still no returning audio.

* Downgrades of telepathy-gabble to 0.18.2-1 and empathy to 3.12.4-1
  (versions used in July) have been attempted, without success.
  Maybe it's related to pulseaudio or gstreamer?

* It was tested between several installations (Sid/Sid, Jessie/Sid, etc.)
