Dear Maintainer,

I believe that since updating gstreamer to 1.6, I have not had functioning outbound audio on telephone calls using empathy.
I am unable to test, since reverting gst to 1.4.5 (~jessie) is a mammoth task.

I've debugged the gstreamer pipeline (wow, it's complicated) and it seems? as if its working OK, but sound is definitely not travelling over the wire
to my asterisk server. I can hear the incoming audio fine, no one can hear me, is all.

When I trace the network, about every two seconds is the only time the outbound audio is sent, and it's a tiny packet as well, in contrast, there are 
dozens of packets from asterisk to my computer (incoming sound).

Perhaps, the RTP muxer is not set up quite right with GST 1.6? I notice there are some changes in the GStreamer repo around the RTP code.
