No. It means there are potentially more team members on the project.  
Some work on libjpeg-turbo as a src:package, some work on tigervnc  
src:package. Both packages will have our mailing list as Maintainer:.

However, there has not been an ok for the team maintenance o  
flibjpeg-turbo from Fathi (who is ITP holder of libjpeg-turbo) in  
public, yet. (ping at fabo).

I am not even sure if my efforts on the master branch should be  
dropped completely in favour of the squeeze-backport branch. Feel free  
to merge your work over mine (i.e. drop my efforts completely as a  
dead end).
