That indeed is a good point. So let's stay on our cosy little list for now.

Yes. That is a good idea. We will be facing that for NX soon.

I am not sure about VNC related patches, but for nx-X11, we will
certainly stumble over a license discussion with every patch we will
propose.
Please give the other TigerVNC hackers a chance to give feedback
before you start intensive hacking on the main Git branches. But I
think that they will give you the warmest welcomes, as well.
