Ola & pkg-tigervnc,
After sending this note, I searched and found that pkg-tigervnc now
exists and is in good health, likely fulfilling the role since ~2012
that pkg-vnc was intended to fulfill (though pkg-vnc's role was
conceived of as broader in scope, encompassing the other variants). Also
thanks, Ola, for continuing to care for vnc4 and tightvnc, the former of
which I used for years until I more recently discovered xfreerdp & xrdp
addressed my needs better. If any of you have anything further to add
about me declaring pkg-vnc "dead", please speak up. :)
