file /usr/share/python-support/python-avahi/avahi/ServiceTypeDatabase.py, 
the url for the default filename must be : 

"/usr/share/avahi/service-types.db"

instead of  

"/usr/local/stow/avahi-0.6.18/share/avahi/service-types.db".
