 You'd need to ask the folks at maemo or backport one for maemo: maemo
 is relying on an older version of debhelper (v4) and the first version
 of the python policy, but the current packages are built with the help
 of debhelper v5 and for the second version of python policy.  The
 changes aren't that big to do, but Debian itself does not have a
 "maemo" repository and requires packages to use python policy 2 and
 recommends debhelper 5.
