 I don't think it's a good idea to ship the dir or create it when
 creating the user or any similar thing: the dir must be created on
 startup of the daemon if it doesn't exist, as /var/run might be wiped
 across reboots.


 It would be nice if you could provide a patch to either cleanup
 properly the users/groups/dirs or to keep them properly.
