[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#444977: network-manager-gnome should not save WPA enterprise passwords unencrypted in gconf

Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 0.6.5-1
Severity: wishlist
When I connect to WPA Enterprise enabled network, it asks me for all the details (EAP method, certs, identity, passwd
etc.) and then, upon successful connect, it saves all the informtion into gconf
/system/networking/wireless/networks/... including plaintext password.
I think it should rather save the password in the keyring the same way as it does when using WEP (and WPA Personal I
suppose), to make it safer.
This wish might be related to bug #420710 about saving WPA Personal passwords into keyring.
