Hello - yes I am thank you. I shall dust off my package and
make sure it works.

The upstream author used to be a student at the University
where I work but he graduated and left: I will send him a
mail and check what the upstream status is.

I spoke to Michael Beibl from the pkg-utopia-maintainers
group (who maintain network-manager) at DebConf7 briefly
about this package (I think -- or maybe it was mail
afterwards). His opinion was that the program needed a bit
work as it is rough around the edges.

I am inclined to agree but would prefer it were included in
Debian in the meantime (imho the whole of network-manager is
rough around the edges, but this plugin is certainly more so
than others).

I've CCed pkg-utopia-maintainers. Do they think that it
would make sense to package this up as part of that team? If
so, I would be interested in joining the team to help out
with that. My alioth login is jmtd-guest. Alternatively if
you Enrico are interested/willing to sponsor packages on my
behalf I would be very grateful.
