Yeah, I already suspected that.
The problem is, that this is not a bug in network-manager-gnome, but
some other, probably 3rd party app, creating the icon cache mistakenly.
FWIW, network-manager-gnome uses the gnome cdbs class in debian/rules.
As soon as this class gets support for dh_icons [1], this problem will
go away. As user of cdbs/gnome.mk, I don't intend to manually add
dh_icons to debian/rules.
