Hello,

I've got the same issue.
The first connect to an network is first gracefull.
After ca. 20 seconds, the connection just breaks.

Here is the log from the part, if the connection breaks:

Mar 24 21:06:18 gnu ntpdate[2949]: step time server 131.234.137.23

connection 'wlan0' because it's no longer valid.

Mar 24 21:06:43 gnu acpid: completed event "thermal_zone TZ1 00000081

How you see, this assertion error exists here, too.

If I connect again to _any_ other network after this connection has been
killed, everything is normal and works without any break.

I'm using as frontend for network-manager the network-manager-kde
(Debian Sid system).

First I thought it's an ndiswrapper issue, but exactly the same error
occurs with the brand new b43 driver.

It appears also with every kernel version (I had used it from 2.6.20
until 2.6.25-rc6-git7) and every encryption (none, wep, wpa, wpa2..).

If you're interested in fixing this issue or to find out what's wrong
there, you could also contact me on OFTC, my nickname is "the-me".
