Installation of hal doesn't work.
 
Setting up hal (0.5.11-4) ...

via the NAME_REGEX configuration variable.  Use the `--force-badname'
option to relax this check or reconfigure NAME_REGEX.
dpkg: error processing hal (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The postinst script has the following call:

    adduser --system \
            --quiet  \
            --disabled-password \
            --no-create-home \
            --home "/var/run/hal" \
            --gecos "Hardware abstraction layer" \
            --group haldaemon

But it seems to miss the user which should be created ("haldaemon").
