Actually, what I did was:

# apt-get remove libnss-mdns # this removes mdns entry from /etc/nsswitch.conf

# apt-get install libnss-mdns # this does not add mdns entry to /etc/nsswitch.conf 

In this case, configure is called with $2=0.10-3, which is the current
version. Unless you purge it.


DEBUG: action: configure $2:0.10-3
