Hi,

The problem don't have to do with the splashy or anything else then
"/etc/lsb-base-logging.sh"!

If you rename that file to something like "lsb-base-logging.sh.bak" and then
execute "apt-get -f install".

Now the package is installed! You can rename the package to
"lsb-base-logging.sh" again.

I don't know what the package "hal" have to do with the file
"lsb-base-logging.sh"....
