Hi,
I get same problem here : Fail to login with kdm the first time (the second time work).
I can see this error with dmesg :
hald-probe-inpu[1716]: segfault at 8000000 ip b7711089 sp bf9e6048 error 4 in libc-2.10.2.so[b76a1000+141000]
