[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#535059: network-manager-gnome: The Network Manager nm-applet is invisible in the notification area tray

Although the icon is not there I get notification bubbles from the systray area
and I do connect automatically to my previously configured home network.

But this is an important problem since I cannot connect to any new wireless networks
since I have nowhere to click to get a list of available networks.
