[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#480552: fails to stop hald on upgrade...

hi,

i am also running into this bug on an upgrade from debian/lenny to
squeeze. i can confirm that the hal deamon fails to stop, which is the
cause of the error. and the workaround given earlier (killall hald;
dpkg --configure --pending) does work for me. 

HAL package version: 0.5.13

simply changed my sources.list entries from lenny to squeeze. aptitude update; aptitude safe-upgrade gives me the following error:
