Hi

dbus was running but the console-kit-daemon process wasn't launched.
I checked with dbus 1.2.20-2 but in this case the console-kit-daemon was launched.
I found that in syslog and in daemon.log the following error messages :

Apr 17 22:45:49 PC kdm: :0[1226]: Cannot open ConsoleKit session: Unable to open session: The permission of the setuid helper is not correct
Apr 17 22:45:49 PC kdm: :0[1226]: Client start failed
Apr 17 22:45:49 PC kdm: :0[1226]: Cannot close ConsoleKit session: Unable to close session: no session open
Apr 17 22:45:52 PC kdm: :0[1246]: Cannot open ConsoleKit session: Unable to open session: The permission of the setuid helper is not correct
Apr 17 22:45:52 PC kdm: :0[1246]: Client start failed
Apr 17 22:45:52 PC kdm: :0[1246]: Cannot close ConsoleKit session: Unable to close session: no session open

The problem is actually the same described in bug #569058 and is as far as I know
only reproducible when using a btrfs file system and I am using this file system.
After the upgrade /usr/lib/dbus-1.0/dbus-daemon-launch-helper lost its setuid
Just putting back the setuid made the new version of dbus works.

Then I think that this bug can be closed.
