Package: consolekit
Version: 0.4.1-4
Severity: normal
When starting icewesel I get the following error :
"GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible
causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you
have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See
http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Failed
to get connection to session: Failed to connect to socket
/tmp/dbus-bZR53S1Gdt: Connection refused)"
The /tmp/dbus-bZR53S1Gdt file does not exist.
I did nothing to configure either ORBit, gconf or other gnome stuff that I do not use.
It was tracked in 578479 as a bogus DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS environment variable.
Looking in the process tree, this variable appears in .xsession
The script itself does not add the variable, this it must be ck-launch-session which starts it.
As for orbit, gconf, etc. I kept all default configuration for dbus, which I would not dare to touch.
